The Airport

I went to the Computer Using Educators conference this week. This is the first time I've been through the airport with my new titanium hip. I wasn't sure what to expect. Actually, on the way down, I completely forgot about my hip. I was standing there trying to figure out why I was setting off the xray machine and then it hit me, "Oh yeah, metal hip, duh!"

On the way back at least I was prepared, but I still had to go through the wand and the frisk. Thank goodness no cavity search!

My friend, and I use that term loosely at this point, Barbara took a picture of my experience on the way home. Here it is.
